Food doesn't sit well in the stomach

If you're questioning whether paying 13 bucks for a burrito is worth it: It is in this place. The range of options alone is impressive, but they're also all delicious. I sometimes take apart my food to check if every individual component holds up, and in this case they very much did. From tender meat to melty cheese, they don't skimp on anything here.

Dear Senor Jalapeno team, We had a fine evening with you. The food was delicious, really spicy (if you ordered it that way), the maragritas were also good, starter and main course (even if you are very hungry) almost too much - price-performance ratio definitely great. The ambience fits, and the service was very courteous and friendly (in Spanish and German). However, there is a suggestion for improvement: shorten the waiting time for the food a little more, then it will be 5 stars :) All in all - highly recommended.

I have never seen anything so outrageous as this evening in this restaurant. We made a reservation by phone and were supposed to take a through table directly at the entrance, which was pushed across the wall ... So you didn't even have a normal table length in front of you to be able to talk. In addition, everyone would have to constantly pass us by, probably not the best at corona times. Then the waitress got cheeky and said we didn't have to stay. No, we don't either and we will never come back!

I've never been to Mexico. But if the cuisine at Señor Jalapeño is authentic, then that's where I want to go. There were two of us today in this nice, from the outside quite inconspicuous restaurant. It was great. The very friendly and attentive service, the very tasty, freshly prepared food and the extremely clean premises. We would like to come again.

There were two of us eating. The service was absolutely great. The prices were appropriate. We both had a burrito which was super tasty. The amount was more than sufficient, so that we were also very satisfied with the price-performance ratio. If we ever come back to Kiel, we would definitely come again. :)

Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants I've eaten at. Staff was excellent and although it takes some time to get the food from the kitchen, it was more than worth the wait! Cannot recommend enough for anyone looking for good Mexican cuisine! Save room for the Churros!

The place has authentic mexican food (no tex-mex) and the service provided is top! I brought a friend for her birthday and they prepared signs, sombreros and a real party for her! Great food and atmosphere! We were greeted like family and welcomed with open arms. They even brought their tortilla maker from Mexico!

Very tasty and fresh food and decent portions. Nice ambience and reasonable prices. The owner is also extremely friendly, you can tell that he loves his job. Unfortunately we live 7 hours away otherwise we would come regularly. I fully recommend!

Very nice place with delicious Mexican food. Authentic cooking is done here and the staff are very friendly. The card offers something for everyone. There is mild to spicy food and a large selection of drinks. The music is not pushy and not too snotty. We like to go to the restaurant with the whole family.

I can highly recommend the plate for 2. Rich and very varied. Since we were always there very early in the evening, we had no problems with an empty table. The service is very nice and uncomplicated and attentive. On the last visit we had the rest packed. Clearly a restaurant in Kiel, which I can recommend

Amazing Mexican restaurant! Been here the first time and loved it a lot! The food was super delicious, the amount of food a lot and prices are very decent. The staff was super friendly. I especially loved talking to them in Spanish. I can highly recommend Señor Jalapeño when you’re looking for a great Mexican restaurant!

We got as a delivery a burrito and what is in the picture. My boyfriend ordered that and it was inedible. My burrito was pretty good but I don't understand why the other dish was so bad, very sauer and swimming in a strange floral artificial tasting watery sauce, and the texture of the chicken was also very off. We did not eat it, as you can see in the photo. The photo to be honest has some onions from the burrito and the salad on top, but it was ordered yesterday night and it goes to the trash sadly. What a waste! I am giving the two stars only because my burrito was quiet nice.

Fantastic Mexican food and great margaritas! Awesome service and environment! One of my favorite restaurants in Kiel and I could not recommend it highly enough. **They even deliver on Lieferando** <- But you have to go there to enjoy the top-shelf tequila.

This is hands down the best Mexican food in Kiel. They make their own tortillas from a real tortilla press brought from Mexico. Their salsas are incredibly fresh and delicious. Everything is delicioso!

Amazing and authentic food. It's really a nice place with a simple style. I would definitely go again and can recommend it to everybody.
